Buffy: The Long Way Home TPB Out Today
Buffy creator Joss Whedon brings Buffy back to Dark Horse in this direct follow-up to season seven of the smash-hit TV series. The bestselling and critically acclaimed issues 1-5 are collected here for the first time, as are their covers by Jo Chen and Georges Jeanty.
In other news, Buffy Season Eight #8: "Not Future For You" hits stores next week, November 7th.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Panel to Panel is available December 5th. |
Astonishing X-Men #23 Covers Revealed

Solictation for Angel: After the Fall #3
As it turned out, Angel didn't end up slaying the dragon after all. But maybe Illyria will! After a brutal Illyria/Angel throwdown, it's goddess versus giant, fire-breathing reptile, and a huge reveal that no one will see coming. Andrew Robinson comes aboard to provide a special painted cover, too! Out January 2008.

Joss Whedon Buffyverse Solictations
Series creator Joss Whedon writes Buffy Season Eight #10 with veteran Buffy artist Cliff Richards serving as guest penciller. Buffy and Willow meet a demon who reveals a dim future, forcing the two to reflect on their past. Meanwhile, back in Scotland, Dawn confides in Xander the deed that led to her mysterious growth spurt. January 2nd, 2008.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer News
A Comic Shop, located in Orlando, Florida will be having Buffy Season Eight artist Georges Jeanty to do a signing on October 26th 2007. All details can be found Here. They will be raffling away a lithograph of the first issue's cover signed by the cover artist Jo Chen and signed by Joss Whedon in the store on the day of the signing. In order to compete, people need to sign up at the store ahead of time. Another lithograph signed by Jo Chen will be raffled off for people who help promote the signing Here.
Wizard Magazine #193 showed Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight #1 to still maintain the number two spot for a fifth month in Wizard's "Hot 10: Comics" list, coming in at an estimated value of $9. Whedon dropped down two spots to no. 6 on the "Hot 10 Writers" list.
