When L.A. went to Hell in After the Fall, so did thousands of screenwriters, one of whom wrote a movie based on Angel's experiences there. The first-ever Angel Annual presents an adaptation of Angel's travails, Hollywood-style, in Angel: Last Angel in Hell: The Official Movie Adaptation.

Lorne's Swan SongAngel Comic Tribute to Andy Hallett/Lorne's Swan Song
Chris Ryall announced on his blog that IDW will be releasing an Andy Hallett/Lorne tribute comic by John Byrne. This comic will act as a final send-off for Lorne who will no longer be used in main Angel continuity after this.

Andy Hallett was best known for playing the part of Lorne in the television series Angel. He died from congestive heart failure on March 29, 2009.

Angel: A Hole in the World #1 Angel: A Hole in the World #1 Available Today
By Scott Tipton, Elena Casagrande. IDW's series of adaptations of landmark Angel episodes continues with 'A Hole in the World,' one of the series' most heartbreaking episodes! Adapting both 'A Hole in the World' and 'Shells,' this five-issue miniseries tells the tragic tale of how Illyria came to fight alongside Angel, and at what terrible cost.

IDW reported that the West Coast's delivery of the book is delayed until December 16 2009.

Wizard Magazine #219 Joss Whedon Wizard News
Looking back at comics, creators and events that impacted the last 10 years, the Wizard Magazine #219 "Decade Issue" celebrated Joss Whedon as one of the voices that shaped the decade, Buffy Season Eight as one of the 10 most important comics of the 2000s, and Joss Whedon and John Cassaday as one of the 10 blockbuster creative pairings.

Cassaday also provided a brand new Astonishing X-Men art pin-up for the magazine's cover.
