Quinn's revised origin had her sew the costume by hand instead of raiding an abandoned costume shop
during No Man's Land. Afterwards, if her suit was ever damaged and needed to be repaired, she brought it to The Tailor, formerly a member of a Gotham City based super-villain team named Mayhem, who now sells his skills in hi-tech weapon and armour design to various parties in Gotham City. In a six-part back-up in Detective Comics, he was accused by his former partners in crime of betraying them, which put his estranged wife and daughter in danger. He was eventually able to prove his innocence, and became a richer man through the experience.
