Officer Down was a cross-over tale spanning the full line of Batman books in 2001, where Commissioner Gordon, a Batverse staple from the beginning, is gunned down on his birthday outside a policeman's bar. Catwoman, a known criminal and enemy of Commissioner's, is seen fleeing the scene, which puts the Gotham City Police and the Bat team -- Robin, Nightwing, Oracle, Batgirl and Azrael on her tail. To throw them off Catwoman's trail and keep them otherwise occupied, Quinn dressed incognito and created disarray in Gotham.
