In "Emperor Joker", a multipart story throughout the Superman titles, the Joker steals Mister Mxyzptlk's reality altering power, remaking the entire world into a twisted caricature, with everyone in it stuck in a loop, repeating the same patterns over and over. Harley is Joker's 'babe-in-waiting,' but loses this title when Joker makes Lois Lane his empress. Before he attempts to destroy the universe, Joker turns Harley into a constellation. As reality crumbles, Superman manages to shatter Joker's control, allowing Mxyzptlk and the Spectre to reconstruct reality from the moment the Joker disrupted everything.
